Principal’s Message
November is an action-packed season filled with school activities and the hustle and bustle of deadlines as the end of the semester quickly draws near. As we approach this busy time of year, it is important to take a moment to breathe, prioritize, and focus on the positive, rather than dwell on the negative. It is also a time to count our blessings and be thankful for those people and things that bring joy into our lives.
In the findings of a Stanford study, researchers stated, "On days when individuals reported high levels of gratitude, they also reported a greater sense of well being and fewer physical health symptoms." In addition, research shows that gratitude can also have a positive effect on our friends and family.
As Thanksgiving approaches, I encourage all of us to take the time to thank those who have made a positive difference in our lives. It is a small way to have a meaningful impact and to improve our sense of well-being.
